Akim Bizati is a former collegiate golfer and the Director of Instruction of AB Golf Academy. After learning from some of the best instructors in the world, he started coaching with a mission to develop players of all backgrounds.

Akim works with youth, teens, adults and seniors. For juniors, the right starting age depends more on attention span than birthdays — if they can focus for 30 minutes and want to be there, they're ready. Reach out and he'll tell you honestly.
Not at all. Complete beginners are a big part of who Akim teaches. The first lesson covers the basics and gets you comfortable enough to enjoy a range session or a round with friends without feeling lost.
Lessons move indoors to CLP Golf in Romeoville, with a simulator, TrackMan and putting analysis. Winter is one of the best times to make a swing change, because there's no scorecard pressure while it settles in.
Both. Individual lessons are the fastest way to fix something specific. Small groups work well for juniors and for friends or family who want to learn together.
